Varexan was founded on a simple belief: Canadian businesses deserve better access to high-quality blank apparel and promotional products, with more choice, greater innovation, and a level of service designed specifically for industry professionals.
The company was founded by Yoann Castellan, a Montréal entrepreneur and founder of Kustom Sportswear, a Canadian apparel decoration company that he successfully built over more than a decade before selling it in October 2025, together with his business partner Charles Deschamps, a Montréal entrepreneur who has owned and managed several successful restaurants and brings extensive knowledge of professional apparel and uniforms for the hospitality and food service industries.
Over the years, Yoann developed extensive hands-on expertise in the apparel decoration industry, working daily with screen printing, embroidery, DTF printing, heat transfer, and other garment decoration techniques.
That experience has become one of Varexan's greatest strengths.
Unlike a traditional wholesaler whose role is simply to sell products, we understand the technical challenges decorators face every day. We know that every fabric behaves differently depending on its composition, dye process, and finish. We understand which garments perform best for screen printing, embroidery, DTF, heat transfers, and other decoration methods.
Our goal is to become much more than a wholesale distributor.
We strive to be a trusted sourcing partner, helping our customers choose the right products for every project while reducing costly mistakes and improving production results.
We also believe that expertise matters.
As Varexan grows, we will continue building a team whose knowledge of the apparel decoration industry is just as important as their sales experience. We believe the best advisors are those who truly understand the day-to-day realities of printers, embroiderers, promotional product distributors, and apparel decorators.
To bring greater product diversity to the Canadian market, Varexan has established partnerships with some of Europe's leading apparel manufacturers, including Roly and Stamina, both headquartered in Spain, as well as Uneek Clothing, a leading European supplier of professional apparel.
In addition, we work closely with manufacturing partners in China to develop a growing selection of promotional products and apparel. We prioritize suppliers that meet internationally recognized standards for quality, responsible manufacturing, ethical working conditions, and sustainability. Whenever possible, we also favor products made with recycled materials to help reduce environmental impact.
Our objective is simple: to offer the best balance of quality, innovation, availability, competitive pricing, and expert advice.
Initially, Varexan will serve customers throughout Québec and Ontario, with a phased expansion planned across the rest of Canada as our distribution network continues to grow.
